I've had this one for quite a while, and I thought I'd throw it up here for everyone to see if you notice anything odd about it.

  3. The coin has a New Orleans mint mark (O) that is not specified on the slab. TC

    Old Slab?

    Chris,
Is that what is refered to as an early slab from PCGS? You guys have great eyes.

No, and I wish I had access to Conder's listing of the older slabs. Here are a couple that are older. Some are merely referred to as OGH and some are called Rattlers because it wasn't a tight enough fit for the coin.

    Chris,

Thanks for the demo pictures. I read that they can often be re submitted with success and come back a grade or so higher.

Well, I see that you can't fool TC!

The funny thing about it was that I bought it at a coin show about 150 miles from home. I didn't pay any attention to the insert. I was only looking at the coin. It wasn't until after I had gotten home that I realized the mistake on the insert. It's not often that you can buy a certified coin for less than half its worth.

The only thing i hate about PCGS slabs are the holograms and the labels, they need to be a little more flashy like NGC's

    The '84-O is PCGS #1.

    The '86 is PCGS #5.
