How reliable is this site? Seems like every coin is worth more than its face. I looked at several pre 1965 quarters. Regardless of the mint and in poor condition they were valued more than the silver content. It would seem that ALL junk silver should be treated at collectible and if its in BU condition to not even think of it as a silver coin. Any thoughts on how accurate the site might be?
no. It doesn't encompass the whole of my US coin collection, and I like to use a place that has info for all US coinage. Your best indicator of current valuation is a simple search of your coin in the completed auctions of Heritage or Ebay. or a wholesale price guide like blue book or greysheet.
