Anyone seen letters stamped narrow at the top and wide at the bottom?

    Just a junk coin and kind of cool looking. but thinking the die was tilted. I know its not worth anything, just asking out of curiosity. Not the camera angle, pic taken straight down. Snap_044.jpg

    One of the most common areas to show weaknees of strike due to Abe's bust being on the opposite side.
    A tilted die can/will usually shows weakness right out to the edge of the coin.

    Just found another. All letters to the left and right are fine. center letters are skewed. Is there a term for this? Like I'm now thinking its some form of a grease strike. But I've never seen this before. Came in a 40lb sealed Bank bag of copper pennies. But these aren't copper. This ones an 84 D.... Those tricky banksters!
