    Thank you !

    I will look it up and see if the markings are spot on. I dug it at 5.5 inches and the soil had been graded about 7 years ago. I also found a colonial era shoe buckle about a hundred yards away. Interesting area.

    Spot on Numismat !! I wonder too ! Small island on the St. Lawrence River. Busy area back then. I hope to find more interesting coins. Picked up an 1817 US Cent last January about 6 miles away. The coins are here, I just need to get on the hunt.
