I'd like to have one but the cost is high enough that they never make it to the top of my priority list. I like seeing what you guys have though.
While expensive is a relative term, there are some patterns that aren't super expensive. They are few and far between, though. A couple have sold at Heritage for less than $1000 this year that I would not mind owning, but most in that price range will have problems.
Not presently. Tho there's several trade dollar patterns I'd LOVE to own. They sometimes sell for no more than a better grade (64-5) proof trade. So they're on my radar but it'll take an investment of a few thousand
I try to avoid patterns. I zig when they think I'm gonna zag; stay one step ahead! See? I bet you thought I was gonna talk about coins, but bam! Caught ya off guard! (I have no pattern coins. )
Do "so-called" patters count lol... This is the first year 2005 issue. All subsequent ones were required to remove the denomination
