I have a ancient-coin-collecting friend who is moving to Kalispell, Montana. He asked me if I knew anyone who collected there and I had to say I didn't. I know of two collectors in Montana, but each is pretty far from Kalispell--it is a big state. If anyone knows of someone in that part of the country, PM me if he might be willing to correspond with my friend.
I'd see if there's a coin club based out of Missoula that he could go to. Even if he just went to a couple of meetings (due to distance), it'd be a good way to establish contacts and meet or be referred to ancient collectors who may be in his area.
That is a beautiful area! I don't know anyone but I know the area. So much to see and do. Missoula is large enough to support a coin shop so hopefully there is one there.
