For those who don't know, OCC is a central Missouri based coin club that I learned about going to their annual show. I am considering regularly attending since I can make the escapade there once a month. Can anyone tell me about it? I already checked out there website!

I hear it’s a pretty good club. I am not a member, but hear good things. I won a door prize there one of the days last weekend, so my opinion may be swayed a little
I hear Joplins club and Rogers Arkansas Club is held in high regards.

Over the years, I've always tried to find, join and participate in local coin clubs in my area. I've belonged to clubs that had former ANA governors as members and had a presentation by David Bowers, to small clubs where the biggest topic of conversation was finding State quarters in change. ALL have been enjoyable and worthwhile.

I strongly recommend joining a local club. If it's active, you can learn a lot. If it's slow, you may be able to provide a spark by doing a short presentation or exhibit. (I was an officer in a small club and always had a 5-10 min talk ready in case things where slow). Plus, clubs are always looking for fresh faces to help with things like their annual show, which is a great way to network with dealers.
