Anyone here ever buy a sealed brick of one's from a bank?

I'm going to try to get one but i have a few questions.

1. Do banks normally let you order one?
2. How many bills are in a brick?

$1000, they are quite handy for storing at home.

 

BTW any 20th century bank should have at least a brick of ones in stock.

 

That's what i thought... Did the bank give you a hard time?

 

I get mine from the Credit Union without a hassle.Heck some of the party stores around here that cash checks have quite a few of each denomination available on Fridays.

 

we usually keep a few brinks not always new though. During the holidays (like right now) we will get a lot more new stuff because people like then to give as gifts.
