I received three proof ASEs in the mail today from a gentleman I found in Wisconsin. The coins are pristine in original mint packaging and the prices are reasonable for such beautiful coins. I now have the ten most expensive ones with the exception of the '95-W. I'm excited to be almost halfway completed with my collection. I plan to display them in the mint capsules, possibly in a wall display when complete. I don't think I have the nerve for the reverse proof yet. lol Are there other proof ASE collectors here? I have 2 sets, one in NGC slab, one in original boxes, but I am also missing the 1995-W. Used to buy them from us mint, later I just bought the whole sets.. Now I have extras in mint boxes.
Are the NGC slabbed coins PR-69s? Do they bring in much of a premium? I don't have any slabs right now, simply because I like the size of the mint capsules...An NGC PR-69 set would be nice to have though. Congrats on your collection!
Ive got a few NGC PF69 proof ASEs but the 06 Reverse is a 70. One of my favorite coins... you should get some nerve and buy one... you wont regret it!
