Anyone hear of MM varieties on the 1917-D Mercury Dime ?

I read a Thread ATS - and the OP asked if one MM size was rarer than the other.
The images he showed were of coins AG 3 and very well worn.

I have a 1917-D in my Fathere's Birth Year Collection - and I have determined it is
the small [ or low set ] MM. I also located another 17-D with a Large [ or high set ] MM.

What do you guys think ?

Is one scarcer than the other ?

I know there a small S+D + a large S+D noted for 1917,1927-1929 and 1941+1942. that is in the red book.

Thanks, I never even looked at the Red Book.
Sometimes that's about all the books you need.
