Anyone going to the Northwest Coin Show this weekend? I am going on Sunday for a while. I really enjoy this one as it is one of the biggest in Minnesota. Freddypm
I'm planning on going Saturday. I've never been to a coin show in the 40 years I've been collecting. I hear it's a very good show.
Went to the show with my Father in Law and had a pretty good time. It still bums me out when several dealers are gone home at show open on Sunday. At least a half dozen tables empty. I picked up a sweet Unc 57-D Franklin for $9 , a 1938 Walker in Fine for $7, a 1917-S Walker in Good for $7 and a 1897 IHC in fine for $1.
I think it was a great show. I went on Saturday for about 4 hours. Picked up a nice 1919 d and 1921 s buffalo. Only the 13 s type 2 and my set is done. I should have gotten that one first, but it's got a pretty high price tag. I also got a couple of 2008 eagles and a Maple to keep my series going. I saw alot of coins I will never own, but it's great to just look at them. I saw a really nice 16 d mercury but the 5 k price scared me away.
