I know a couple of you guys have been chasing the ex-Dattari coins.

I have a couple of bids in, but I'm not confident they will hold.

Ya, there's one I would like at a reasonable price, and a few others if they stay low. I was hoping some kind soul who was already bidding live would hook me up!

I love the Naville auctions but my bid-win ratio is pathetic. I have abundant targets tomorrow but usually don't bid until the lot is on the virtual block.

Is there some reason you don't want to do you own bidding? Are you tied up during the closing?

    PM me if needed.

How long on average does it take to have the pending approval text turn into a bid button?

After my experience with NAC I shall not be bidding in this sale tomorrow. I have had it with Naville and decided to take my money elsewhere. It is unfortunate because I really like the selection of coins in their auctions and I have had a very good success rate bidding on my targets.

Carausius Brother, can you spare a sestertius?

Send me a PM. I may be live.

The Naville terms say that the buyer is responsible for anything related to import (very different to Roma's approach)

Did any of the US bidders contact Naville to ask if the targets have the proper paper trail?

My targets are ex Dattati and illustrated in Dattari's rubbing of his collection from the early 20th century. So no worries here!

I'd looked in the past and signed up recently. I only bid on two and won one. I wish I'd bid stronger on the first but the one I did win will be a good test.

I won one lot today, a coin I've wanted for a long time. I'll wait to get it and photograph it before I post it.

I managed to win one as well. I was the under bidder on the one I really wanted though. I put in my bid but as I was sitting passenger in the car I hit some wifi that didn't have good signal and when I reloaded it was already on the next lot :(. Yeah, no more phone bidding for me, at least not driving around with wifi on.

I won exactly what I wanted! Happy, but 'twas expensive. Gorgeous little hard-to-find Carthaginian AR Litra. I have the AV version of it, now the AR version. Claine-Stafenelli provenance too.

Thank you. I was stoked... but, lol, still need to suffer the invoice... :)

Me too! Prices were strong. (Probably for the best, I've been buying too much lately...)
