I don't know why I keep these things, novelty I guess. Anyone else come across these gold-plated Kennedy’s and actually keep them? I'll post a picture of my hoard when I get home. :eat:
If I come across something like this in circulation I will usually set it aside. I have a binder with 2x2s full of "interesting" circulation finds. I have gold plated coins, painted coins, odd AT toned coins, and so forth. I know they aren't worth anything but they are interesting and if I get them in my pocket change there is no reason not to hang onto them.
