anybody here collect $50.00 gold slugs

    Hey guy's
    I was wondering if anybody collected the $50.00 dollar gold slugs from the 1850,s?:confused: If so post some pictures . I may have a local line on three of them

    I seriously would like to buy one of these, but the things are generally overgraded and rather crude in my opinion. If I had a choice and could find one, I would like to have a very nice 1915-S Panama Pacific $50 in the octagonal, with the Minerva and owl design. Truly a lovely USA commemorative with much going for it design wise, size wise etc. And a miniscule mintage.
