Jerry. Stop. You are posting all circulated, and melt value coins. You don't need to create any more threads. You didnt strike it rich bud, sorry. Please use the link and save yourself the time. http://www.coinflation.com/silver_coin_values.html
Im fine with the way im doing things. If i need advice on how to post when to post and how many ill ask you. I get tired of people acting like they can boss whoever around becuz they dont like how somebody is enjoying there time. This is by far the rudest, unfriendly forim out there. Too many edited
Funny you say the "forum" is rude. Proper forum use is defined by knowing something about the site you are on, applicable etiquette, etc. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to you, you are asking the most ridiculous "noob" questions that would actually fall into the "bothersome" category for forum members if only because you felt each of your treasures needed its own thread. All of the information you have requested with your 3 created threads is all found on the same exact webpage and is a listed resource on this site (again, the link I posted for you). It would be equivalent to walking across someone's line of putt in golf. Or not bowing lower to your Japanese boss during a greeting. It just makes you look foolish bud. If you don't like it, take your $10 worth of coins and go spam another forum. Because that is what you are doing. You could have easily posted all 3 of your beat up, cheap coins on one thread. Also, a little grammar, spelling, and learning the proper use of "there, they're and THEIR" would make you look less dumb. Have a great day.
Welcome Jerry. The 64 half looks nice. It's probably worth a little more than the silver value. You need to work on your images a bit for folks to help with grading. Post all you want. This place is here for folks to have fun with coins. Most of us are here for that reason.
Ask away man. Its good for people to comment on grades and what not and see why they say what they do. If someone does not want to comment...click out of the post. One comment may be how its important to get your own information for grading and pricing. It's a road we all have to go down.
Jerry, Like Larry said, your photos need to be better. For me, I wouldn't attempt to grade this coin from those photos. FWIW, I think both of you need to settle down. Fiat, You're new to these forums, too, so I think you're out of line telling another newcomer what he should or shouldn't do. If you don't like something another member has done, report it to the mods and let them take care of it. That's why we have a "Report" button. Chris
A bit monotonous with the junk silver posts perhaps. That being said, this forum is for everyone last time I checked, nobody's coins had to be top end or worth hundreds or thousands in order to create a post or ask a question. Many of the coins I own are in the same category as Jerry's, low-end and affordable, does that mean I'm not allowed to ask around and converse with fellow members? Maybe he's new to the hobby, maybe he overlooked the coinflation pricing guide? Maybe he just wants a 2nd opinion from someone else not so.....arrogant? I agree with Chris's above statements.
Welcome to CT Jerry! It looks like this is just a normal 90% silver half dollar. Based on what I can see in the photos, it has been circulated. 1964 is a very common date and in this condition, it would only be worth it's melt value. That said, the photos are pretty small and kinda blurry so I can't get a good look at it. If you could post better photos, it would be helpful.
You need to calm down rookie. You're new here, so you should be reading more and making negative comments less.
Jerry, I am new also so sorry for the outburst. Good pictures would help as I have heard it many of times also. I try to get better pictures sometimes I do sometimes I don't. From what I can see, it is melt value UNLESS is has some type of error and these 64's had them.
I want to see more respect towards members in these discussions. No, I will correct that to I demand to see more respect towards members in these discussions if one wants to remain a participating member. Thanks.
The tics and coprolalial ( inappropriate and foul language) do not affect written expression. Even the coprolalial is rare. So no medical excuse if that is what you are implying.
It was more a loaded question (statement too) regarding the level of insult I was seeing Jim. There is no excuse.
I know Green, but such might grasp any excuse to continue their efforts to bully others. it will not be tolerated.
