    Hi, everybody --

I just had to ask this question: Have any of you tried building a "Conception Year" coin set? It's basically a twist on the "Birth Year" coin set, but with obvious difference in personal significance.

Of course, for some people born in the later part of a given year, this set would be the same as a Birth Year coin set, but in my case -- and for perhaps most people -- we were conceived and "discovered" by our parents the calendar year before being born.

In my case, I'd probably shoot for buying a 1980 mint set and/or 1980 proof set to fulfill the effort, so it wouldn't be an expensive endeavor for me in any respect....

    Happy New Year :hail:

He means the year when his parents brought the beds toghter and he was concieved.
For a lot of people its different years than the year they were born.
Just take 9 months back from when you were born.

That sounds like a very interesting endeavour.
I was also thinking about putting together a set based on the year my parents 1st went to the Sock-Hop, then drove up to Inspiration Point to initially watch the submarine races but it turned into their 1st heavy-petting hot and steamy love session, only to be told by the cops to move along.
    Sounds heart warming, I know..

How about having every circulation coin since conception until now? I think I'm good until 2008.

Ha ha -- It looks like the conception year coin set would certainly be an interesting conversation piece for my collection, too, huh? ;)
