INB - International Numismatic Bureau? What's the scoop? Some of the stuff looks over graded. Here's one of his latest auctions: http://cgi.ebay.com/LOS-ANGELES-LOT...goryZ525QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem He has nearly 70k sales. I figured somebody here might have gotten something from them. They must have spent all day creating these listings.
Looks like another pocket change slabber using common PCGS coins as bait......overpay by $100+ and get a free $8 PCGS coin ???
Notice how the bar codes on all of those INB slabs are identical? Almost a dead giveaway of a bogus slabber.
Jack said it and I agree. Common PCGS stuff and you get a PCGS box! The box is probably worth more than the coins. I'd save my money. clembo
Hmmm - I can tell they are different. I think I have seen too many bar codes in my time. But the sentiment is still the same - a bogus slabber. And toad - you get a free one if you send in 5 coins to be slabbed. Or you could buy the three I have for only $20 each. :mouth: This is a joke and only a joke - don't want people to really think I am advertising.
did you happen to check the feedback? http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=numismaticbureau&Dirn=Received+by&ref=home
I sent you payment via PayPuke! Ribbit  Ps: I need your help again with a variety on a Draped Bust Cent. I need to buy the book but my new camera set me back a nice bit and now it will be a couple of weeks before I can afford the book. I could afford it sooner but I can't stop buying coins! :mouth: Pps: I picked up a really nice 1802 DBLC Sheldon-235 the other day. I will post it shortly.
Between the feedback, the slabs, and the fact that I am too lazy to read his 50 pages of garbage, I would not touch that with a 100' pole.
The guy sells bags of dirt which you can "search for emeralds" in... and he's SOLD some! I guess the old adage about a fool and his money is true.
The bar codes on the PCGS slabs are different, as they would be, but look closely again at the INB slabs--the bar codes are all the same.
notice in the feedback ( agreed Rlm, only 1st page) the % of low feedback newbies who were bargain hunting or took the bait
I once bought some OBW rolls of wheat cents from this seller. The supposed OBW rolls were very loose. Several of the rolls were garbage. On the flip side one of the rolls was a roll of GEMS which more than made up for the garbage. Go figure. I have seen many auctions from this seller and I am amazed at people buying what he/she is selling.
I hate to say it but I bought a lot of wheatie from them and got nothing but junk. It was suppose to be a 1/2 Lb wheat back but all I got was 30 badly graded wheatie. They are the type that will wait until you give your feedback before they give their, after waiting 3 weeks to get a email reply from them. I gave them my feedback (neg) and within an hour they gave theirs (neg). numismaticbureau is one of the biggest rip off artist on ebay and I would :computer: before I bid on another coin form them.
Here's the scoop : Take a Sacagawea dollar from your pocket - or pick it up off the floor Buff it up real nice with the chamois you use to wax your car Stick it in a bogus slab Sell it as MS70 That way you'll have even more Sackies in your pocket ! Repeat steps 1-4.
"Natural diamond is one of the rarest elements on the earth. This collection has a small uncut and unpolished diamond. " Dang, I wonder how much I could get for my collection of sodium chloride crystals.
