Any thoughts???

I picked this up recently, thought it was interesting. Seems to have started life as maybe a split clad layer that got broken off at some time in its existence..any ideas or other thoughts??

Lamination came off after striking and it looks like it may have had some help in coming off.

 

It's a clamshell separation that broke off after the strike. It does look like it may have had some help.
