Any thoughts?

    So I found this and I'm not sure if its man made or an actual error. What do you think? IMG_20160618_163705.jpg the front is clear but the back is like this.

    It was ground down. Not an error but rather someone with too much time on their hands.

    Definitely looks like PMD, and I agree with furryfrog on the ground down part.

    In cases of one side being nice while the other side is extremely worn, is the grade just the average between the two (assuming it's straight circulation and not PMD)?

    Ie, obverse is MS60 but reverse is VF20, final grade is EF40?
