Looks clad to me. It just looks environmentally damaged.

If you like it, keep it, but don't buy into that nonsense from the other thread. I'd love to be wrong, but that fellow wasn't doing you any favors.

Hi, Newbie here. Can anyone give info about any of these Kennedy's that I found at banks this week?[IMG]

That's why I'm asking. One man's words are words, several people's words are a voice...
    Thank you

Please start a new thread about your coins so that you do not hijack someone else's thread.

He's talking about thread you posted this same coin in and they told you it was possibly one of a kind because of the clashed die marks on it. Like I remarked die clashes as weak as these are pretty common on Roosevelt dimes while they are cool to find they don't really bring a premium.

1996=gold plated/2001=business strike circulated/2006=damaged proof/1996=toned business strike. None really worth holding on to because of the circulation damage.

Now I see the other TWO threads about this coin.

No problem and feathers here aren't ruffled but I just figured you hadn't read the post on the other threads.

Also if your pictures were rotated it might be easier for you to see what is being described to you.

No feathers ruffled here either. There is nothing about this coin that would command a premium though.

    BonnieSue-

You ask questions honestly, so of course we're tolerant. :) Given the new pictures, I still think it's just environmental damage.
