Just was wondering what are some hot coins people will be chasing that is worth a shot at.

I have noticed newbies on EBAY selling graded commons right at book and using PCGS price guide doing so.
Happy New Year to many friends on here that I have had the pleasure to deal with in the past 2 yrs.

  5. I am disappointed it will not also be vapor-blasted, but if it comes in some fancy packaging I am in...lol

To the OP: I am looking forward to the HOF Baseball commemorative. TC

The ones you want to buy are the ones that nobody wants. Then wait a couple of years.

Oh, you got me. Let us add Deep Deep Cameo, the kind you'd lose your foot in if you step on it.

I have never bought a puck. Are they cool to have and has there been a price increase on puck coins? Thanks

I bought two pucks just to say I have them. Don't know how the value has gone, although I know silver was way higher when I bought them.

I'm hoping for a carbon fiber 1964-2014 dated peace dollar.

Those Baseball Hall of Fame dollars look neat; glad to see the mint actually trying something dramatically different. I may even try to get the gold one if I can scrape up the cash (the Mint still hasn't announced a release date. I'll be getting the half dollar and dollar at the very least though.)

The Civil Rights one just looks plain boring. The man on the front holding the "We Shall Overcome" sign doesn't look like he's in any hurry to overcome anything. (This would have had the potential to be a sleeper investment had they made a gold one but I don't expect this to become worth more than the silver it contains anytime soon.)

Nothing else coming out this year looks especially interesting. I'll be making all my routine purchases I guess but nothing really excites me other than the baseball coins. The Smokey Mountain quarter looks kind of cute though. Like the little cabin on it. If you're only going to get one puck (5 oz silver quarter) this year, get that one. That one would look nice in 5 oz size.

Heck even China's silver panda looks half asleep this year.

most 2014 mint products should be interesting for investment. since every year keep making mintage lower and lower. i think this year should end the downward trend. and gradually improving and increasing the mintage after 2014.
note: from 2012 to 2014. many of the mint products should be the lowest of their own series. if not second to its low.
