IS anyone out there collecting mexican Bullion or silver and gold coins. It just struct me today. I was wondering how to go about ordering Mexican Libertad's or Gold is there a mexican mint like a US mint? If so does anyone know how to contatc them? I tried to google mexican coind and I get sites here in the US. I am fluent in Spanish and was wondering if I could contact some one in Mexico? I sent an Email to the Banco de mexico and have not got any response so I was just wondering if anyone had any information they could share? bandito
I've got a few, but these were from my dad when he had his hardware store down in Tejas during the 60's. The big silver cinco peso's he honored like dollars. I've got a few of them as well as some stuff I picked up from eBay. Bone
The web site of the mint (Casa de Moneda de México) is here: http://www.cmm.gob.mx/cmm/ The actual mint (production facilities etc.) is in San Luis Potosí. They also have s sales center, and even a store in downtown Mexico City, on Paseo de la Reforma. You could try and write them at ventas@cmm.gob.mx ... Christian

Sorry, no. When I was in Mexico earlier this year, I went to that mint store and bought some coins. One piece I was interested in was not available, but they told me about that web site and that I could also order from them. Since I live in Germany, and that "missing piece" would have been relatively inexpensive, I figured that ordering this one coin from them would be a little expensive, with shipping and all ...
