Any *legitimate* "police auction" sites that might have coins?

Or unclaimed baggage (like people would be checking in suitcases full of valuable coins) or anything of the sort.

Every time I see one of these I cringe; I don't trust any of them.

    Thoughts?

I like to refer to these as "running from police" auctions . . .

I am afraid I have nothing to answer with, but I've always wanted to buy left behind property in storage or from such a site just to see what can be found. The problem is, those who know the good sites and places probably aren't advertising to potential competition.

I would think if you asked the airlines etc, they would tell you who they consign such things to.

What I normally put in my travel bag: a change of clothes, toiletries, phone charger, extra pair of sunglasses
What I don't put in my travel bag: anything valuable
