I am sorting thru a friends collection, not finding this in the red book. Any help will be appreciated. I lighten the pics to help.
Thanks. It is in with a British new world issue Bermuda shilling, and 2 1783 nova constellatio coppers. I know they may be copies but just starting the research
If it helps, I remember seeing lots of items like this in the runup to the Bicentennial. They had reproduction and fantasy coin sets for tourists everywhere, along with 1974-1976 dated cents with Lincoln and others counterstamped into them.
It is sort of a copy of a New Hampshire copper. The WM is for William Moulton who was authorized to make the coins. This is the basic pattern that was authorized. It is not certain how many if any were actually made, but this is a sort of copy of one of them.
