Hi all! I'm struggling to identify this coin. I'm pretty sure it's Greek or Provincial judging by the style, and there is a countermark just in front of the bust. The coin weighs 6.37g and is 24mm at its widest Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I get a Seleukid vibe. Zeus, Nike crowning name of king perhaps? Not unlike this one: CNG: eAuction 236. SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Demetrios II Nikator. Second reign, 129-125 BC. Æ (17mm, 5.33 g, 12h). Antioch mint. Struck 129-128 BC. (cngcoins.com) Just a guess.
