Since it says on one side: Philippus comes nassau (Philip Count of Nassau) The other: Moneta (money) Opidi (county) Sarbrugens I assume this is supposed to be a coin of Philip Graf (count) von Nassau-Saarbrücken? which it is, of course, not...its a modern machine struck (dies machine made) fake.
Should be this Philipp: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philipp_I_of_Nassau-Weilburg The coin (well, the original) is described here: http://www.archive.org/download/annalendesverein15vere/annalendesverein15vere_bw.pdf (see p. 122-123) If that is it, the piece will be a replica of a late 14c/early 15c groschen. But honestly, downloading that >25 MB file does not really help much - no images, just lots of German text, and the middle part of each double page is missing. Christian
It probably is supposed to be the first Philip, Here is a link to google books that mentions the coin though I cannot find an example: http://books.google.com/books?id=0u...&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=2&ct=result http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saarbr%C3%BCcken
