Any idea what these two are?

    Hello amigos and amigas,
I bought these two items not too long ago as some kind of "rarities"; one seems to be an ancient gold? coin (I paid $20 for it) and the other looks like a token (coin?). I believe it says "half drach" (drachmai?); it looks the same on both sides. I'm including the dime as a size reference.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Monetarium

The gold coin is an Indian fanam from about the 17th century or earlier. My instint says it is from cochin, but I could be wrong....

I think that the 1/2 dracham might well be a apothecaries' weight
