Any idea of the reverse of this Claudius II Gothicus mule?

Hi all! Recently, I posted about a mule of an antoninianus of Claudius II Gothicus, combining his posthumous obverse and lifetime reverse.

Well, I bought 2 more! All three were bought from the same seller.

However, I'm having trouble identifying the reverse of one of them. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

That's a tough one. Hard to tell what he's holding in his right hand.
A shame that almost the entire legend is cut off. The mint workers really dropped the ball with these tiny flans.

It looks like he's resting his right hand on a shield and holding a spear. To me, that suggests Mars.
