I wanted to post some coin pictures to get some advice from you members (and to show off some of my coins of course ). However, I used to use Homestead and noticed that they now charge. Does anyone know where I can set up a web page for free, in order to download these photos to the forum? I have signed up for the free trial of homestead but found that they block the ability to download the pictures onto other sites such as ebay.

There is a site that I use for this purpose.

As for inviting the general public - you can send individual invitations to specific e-mail addresses if you wish. But far and away the easiest method is this.

Just send out an invitation, containing the User ID and the Guest Password, via e-mail to yourself ( your own e-mail address ). That will activate the guest privileges. Then just post a message that contains the User ID and Guest Password in the Forum. Then any Forum member can go to the site and access your albums.

If you need help or have questions - just e-mail me.

It used to be that there were many free sites, and I think I've used all of them at one time or another. The last free ebay linkable site that I used was sparedollar.com, but they started charging just three months after they appeared on the scene.
I finally broke down and coughed up the 4.95 a month to Geocities and upgraded my site there. :D
Their uploads are simple, I got 25mg of space to use and the site is easily managed. Best part is they link anywhere and with paid service, no ads! . The only thing I didn't really like was the one time start-up fee of 10 bucks. Kinda like the phone company charging to flip a switch

I use MSN Communities. It's free and easy to use.

Aaaah . . . we are very observant grasshopper. I had to go back and re-look. Wonder where he's been for the last 6 years. 32 posts in 6 years? Maybe he cannot type!
