I have three COIN (Convention Of International Numismatics) medals issued by the Organization of International Numismatists. Does anyone know what became of OIN? I've been reading snippets about them in the Newman Portal. It's seems they were a big deal at one time with prominent members. And prominent presidents: ie Maurice Gould, Russell Rulau, Virgil Hancock... They even maintained a large reference library of counterfeit and altered coins. But nothing about their fate that I can find. Even if they merged with another organization, that would still be news. What happened to them? Does anyone know?
