Any comments on these two coins ! 1957 penny and 1999 penny

    I think you should get a Whitman album and use these coins to start your Lincoln Cent Collection.

    Comments? Yes.. they are both Cents ;)

    The 1957 has a Die Chip on the number 5.
    Minor mint error.

    I see nothing out of the ordinary on the 1999.
    Maybe just a bit of common and worthless die deterioration doubling. Nothing major.

    Could you please look into the FG , the G looks like a D from the pic angle . So just curious. Thanks for your time !

    It's a copper plated zinc planchet. Most likely a simple plating bubble. There's no reason for the US Mint to change the G to a D.

    There’s a die chip on the 5 in the date. Very common as stated. The FG appears normal to me as it’s a copper coated zinc cent. Spend it.
