Has anyone else noticed what looks to be mild doubling on the flowers on coins where there is a die break from the bison's nose? I know, I know..pics. I'll post some in a bit, but just wanted to ask first before I hassle with the two useless digital microscopes that I have.
You mentioned using a microscope to photograph your coins. IMO, if you need more than 10X magnification to see it, it's meaningless.
They're for taking pictures. Neither are good quality though. I can see it fine with a loop. It doesn't matter though. I'm becoming more and more convinced that it's just an old die and that what I'm seeing is from that.
