Any chance this 1924 wheatie is an authentic D?

    Found this while coin roll hunting and got excited but it looks like the "mark" is slightly in the wrong place. This photo is from a cell phone and through a 10x loupe.

    Might be able to get a better photo through a 10-16x tomorrow.

    I think it's a normal 1924-P with some damage or a die gouge. It's definitely not a D mintmark from what I can see...sorry.
