    My latest purchase.

    SCARCE AND LARGE
Ancient Roman Egypt Bronze Hemidrachm of ANTONINUS PIUS 138-161 A.D. minted circa 144 A.D. around (Regnal) year 8 of his reign.
35 mm max. diameter and nearly an ounce at 24.16 grams
Obv: AVT K AIL AΔP ANTΩNEINOC CEB EYC, laureate head right.
Rev: HOMONOIA, Homonoia standing, head to her right,
holding double cornucopiae in left arm, a patera held in her right hand, feeding a serpent, arising from being coiled around an altar to her right.
In Greek mythology Homonoia (Greek: Ὁμόνοια) was Goddess of Concord, Unanimity, and Oneness of Mind.
Her opposite was Eris (Strife). Homonoia was believed to be the daughter of Soter, the Saviour Daimon, and Praxidike, the Goddess of Judicial Punishment and Vengeance. Her siblings were Arete (a goddess personifying Virtue) and Ktesios, minor God of Household.
Arete and Homonoia were referred to as the Praxidikai, taking this name after their mother.

Here's what CNG says about it.

Any thoughts, please? Any better attribution, maybe?

At 35 mm and 24 gm, your coin is a drachm rather than a hemidrachm. It is Emmett 1581, year 8, rated R3 based on the collections surveyed for his catalog. Milne's catalog number for the coin is 1801.

I'm not sure why the CNG listing says it is unrecorded in Emmett, or why the CNG coin is called a mule. Mistake?

Whatever. I like your new coin :)

Also, I think you or the seller had a typo or two in the obverse legend. It is

    AVTKTAΙΛAΔPANTωNINOCCEBEVCEB, which breaks down as

    AVT(OKPATΩP) Imperator
    K(AICAP) Caesar
    T(ITOC) Titus
    AΙΛ(IOC) Aelius
    AΔP(IANOC) Hadrianus
    ANTωNINOC Antoninus
    CEB(ACTOC) Augustus
    EVC(EBHC) Pius

    Wow, that's a long one :D

    Thank-you TIF.
To clarify, I copied the seller's legend (at my peril, so I perpetuated his mistake).
Thank-you so much for the attribution.
I was unsure about the tag 'mule' as there appeared to be at least two coins the same, mine and theirs. (CNG also has a similar coin but the Obv: has an image of Marcus Aurelius - Antoninus' son - and a different Rev: legend.)
I am glad that you like it. I do too.
