This is an authentic, untooled example This is selling for 400 USD on ebay what a pathetic hatchet job...not worth the metal they etched it on... http://cgi.ebay.com/Nero-E-Orichalcum-Sestertius-Annona-67-AD-38mm-EF_W0QQitemZ200122681890QQihZ010QQcategoryZ4734QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting
But, but...they say it's authentic! Looks like there's a Trajan knock-off, too. Never seen fakes like these before, but even then, any collector of Roman bronzes and coppers would be able to tell right away they're not real.
you would think anyone paying $400+ for one of those coins, would know what they are buying... its so sad to see collectors ripped off like that!
What a piece of junk. The Trajan they have listed is just as bad & they aren't the first tooled coins they've sold. They sold a Vespasian for $2,900 & the buyer says "A delightfull coin.A perfect transaction.Thank you" http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200102258162
What do you expect from the French: "Terville, Lorraine, France" They're still mad because we won't say that they won WW II by themselves!
Authenticity garantied! Do you think by mispelling this so badly that the seller can claim he meant something else?
It was supposed to read Authenticity Quarantined, as in they quarantined the certificate in authenticity in teh evidence lockup for the fraud trial.
