Several posts today told of the "good" things that merchants/suppliers do for their customers so I thought one more might strike a chord. Yes, its Christmas time and we all recieve cards and other reminders that our business is appreciated - I got my PCGS calendar last week for example.
Yesterday I found a large USPS priority mail envelope with my other mail. Inside was a very nicely wrapped book - The Treasure Ship S.S. New York by Q. David Bowers WITH his autograph! It was sent by John Albanese and his staff at CAC.
I am a small-time collector whose love of coinage has survived for 55 years and I don't do enough business with CAC to pay a one week power bill. I was astonished by this gesture and will never forget their generosity. They definately know the power of a meaningful Thank You.
