Another small numismatic accomplishment for me.
I now have the 4 major varieties of the 1835 Half Dimes.
I'll do links instead of images since if I posted them all at once they would take up too much screen space.

And the foggy spots at about 6 o'clock on two of them are on the slab, not the coin.

    Congrats Kanga!

So what's your next variety challenge? Are you going to collect other HD dates?

    Yes.
I'm working on a Capped Bust half dime set.
Just sort of lucked out on the 1835 varieties.
    I'm about half way.
    Looking for XF/AU.
Gets a bit pricy above that.

What a short set but oh so complicated. Acanthite and I have discussed this set over beers, and we both know the difficulty of the " easiest set " of type coins.........

    Congrats on your accomplishment:thumb:

Those are very nice coins. Congratulations!
I notice that all (but one?) are PCGS graded. Is that by design?

Just the luck of the draw.
    I bought them already slabbed.

Unless I'm thinking of collecting for an NGC Registry set, I'll accept any of the major TPGs (PCGS, NGC, ICG and ANACS) and even give SEGS and PCI a look.
In this case currently there's no thought of going Registry.
