Nice coins! I didn't even know they came in Proofs. :shame::sorry:
I bet the grading cost more than that. ;)

Modern costs $19 to grade per coin. Plus $10 handling fee plus minimum $28 shipping for 1 to 10 coins. Plus it had to get there. Another $5 if it’s a scratch resistant slab. There’s some way you can tell by looking at the edges.

So yeah pretty cheap deal in the end. Somebody just looking to recoup something out of it.

I haven't even look at the "Innovation" medals/coins. I got hooked on the states and then the next one. It took too much time. I did buy a set of them for North Carolina, which has been my home since 1969 and even married a Tar Heel. These girls from North Carolina are the sweetest, smartest, critters raised in thiese hills.

Nice coin, there are some nice designs in the series and that is one of them. I picked up the introductory proof and stopped - didn't want to get hooked on another ongoing set like others have said.
