another rarity

    must be my lucky week :) here we go again this one was purchased recently. Please guess the grade ignore the XF comment also if u can do something with the original pic so u can capture the coin please do so i tried it with ok results i think

    well the original is too dark i was wondering if there was a fix to make it look natural

    Here are both of the pictures edited as best I could get them! That is a nice coin you purchased! Congrats! Your purchased coin is darker but appears in much better condition than the (I assume) example below.

    I hear a quick "dip" will brighten that coin right up! ;)

    But seriously, there's only so much you can do to enhance a really dark picture... in most cases the detail just isn't there. Your best bet is to retake the pictures and try some different camera settings and/or add some additional light sources.

    EDIT: I picked up a semi-professional lighting kit off the Bay fairly cheap (Between $50 and $75 if I recall correctly). It came with three lightstands, two diffuser umbrellas, and three bulbs. It works great!

    well the top coin and bottom coin are the same coin the top one is the natual image and the bottom one is the fixed image
