Thanks for the input on the last coin. This coin I have no doubt on authenticity, but it has a strange marking on the reverse, just above the 1/2. The reeding is also affected. I have a suspicion as to what the answer is, but just trying to confirm it. The coin is not bent, although the lighting makes it look that way, so also included is a pic of the reeding on the "clean" edge.
Been used as jewelery. It has had a loop or something removed and the edge has been crudely re-reeded where it was removed.
