Another odd LMC - 1991

    Check this one out. Look at LIBERTY first. If the rest of the coin wasn't such a mess, I would think I found a new doubled die. BERTY looks like a doubled die. The LI not so much. The rest of the coin has a great deal of push or slide doubling going on. So much, that unless the last 1 in the date is struck through grease, it is obliterated. The LI in LIBERTY is almost as bad. IN is barely visible. Take a look and tell me what you think. Thanks all.

    I have seen similar coins and have come to the conclusion that they are not a doubled die, because the type of doubling seen most closely resembles that only found during the single squeeze hubbing era (post-1996).
