I love low grade large cents, especially when the planchet is not corroded or has too many problems.

I like it, just good honest wear. That is one of those "If a could could talk" sort of coins.

I like all large cents :) But I really like the ones with enough detail to attribute. Coin in such low grade with no surface problems always amaze me. Like someone was protecting it all these years from corrosion but not wear... I wonder if it was a pocket piece at one point.

I do not like it - there's not much to look at.

i noticed something about this coin, the neck area on the obverse of this coin looks like a 1797 NC-5. i have not seen any other varieties of draped bust cents with that type of neck area except the 1797 NC-5. are there any other varieties of draped bust cents with that type of neck area?

    1797 nc-5 large cent???

$(KGrHqF,!rEFEKC,NhHkBRJB(NUQf!~~60_57.jpg $(KGrHqJ,!pwFEBPs(!w+BRJBWj7NKQ~~60_57.jpg the reverse of this coin does not look the same as the 1797 nc-5. but the obverse looks like the 1797 nc-5. the neck/throat area on the obverse of this coin only seems to match a 1797 nc-5.
