    What a great find!

Japanese Protectorate of Korea, Kuang Mu 9 (1905), KM#1125, Bronze 1 chon.

From the picture it's hard to tell the exact grade, but it is certainly XF or better. It's Krause value in my 2008 edition of Krause was at least $30, and in recent years I have seen most early 20th Century Korean coins going for significantly above their catalog values.

  6. I know, I was super excited to find it and in such good condition. There are many foreign treasure to be found here in the U.S., because the majority of the focus is on U.S. and bullion, and the best part is most can be found for next to nothing.
