Here is a guy with his brain in the wrong place. Look at listing http://cgi.ebay.com/1912-S-lincoln-...3QQihZ009QQcategoryZ39456QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Notice the name at the bottom of the picture and compare it to this listing http://cgi.ebay.com/1912-S-Lincoln-...ryZ39456QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem He does not even have the sense to remove the guy's name from the picture he stole! I have already reported it to hardway-willie. Hopefully he will take the appropriate action.
The second link goes nowhere. If the true owner's auction is over, he could substitute something else for the coin picture, like a statement "This scumbag is using my photo of a coin he doesn't own.", or even a nice example of hard-core porn.
I do not know what happened. This is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/1912-S-Lincoln-...ryZ39456QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Now that is lack of common sense! If you are going to do something like that, you can't be stupid! There are some real scumbags and scamartists out there. Pheonxi
He did the same thing with the 1958 flying eagle. His listing http://cgi.ebay.com/1858-U-S-Penny_...ryZ39456QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and the original http://cgi.ebay.com/1858-Flying-Eag...8QQihZ014QQcategoryZ11942QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
The second vendor is an idiot who should be NARU'd off eBay.The trouble with those wankers is they never learn, because they're busy being extremely pretentious! Aidan.
"coolest_boy83" username with a 95.7% feedback rating? Should I just email him my credit card numbers? If the username doesn't tip them off... I don't know what would.
That one has a rate of 95% not good and on the flying eagle it is in Ca and the 1912 lin is located in Ohio ( I'm confused )
Has anyone ran these vendors' feedback charts through the Toolhaus yet? I am not sure how you go about doing this. Aidan.
The best way is to go here if you use Internet Explorer or here if you use Firefox, and follow the directions to get the tool that allows you to right click on an Ebay user ID and immediately get his/her negs and neutrals. :thumb:
So far he is still active on eBay, but he has pulled all of his listing off. "The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing." That is not the result I was hoping for, but eBay still has time to finish him off. Incidentally, I heard back from both of the sellers he stole the pictures from. Both said that they would "follow up".
