Once again, I found a 1 oz--2 pound proof 2013 Britannia for a reasonable price. Given the low mintage, they aren't that common in non-inflated prices: 2013 brit.jpg 2013 britrev.jpg

Nice.. but I got confused when you said it was a 2 pound proof... It's a one ounce fine silver 2 POUNDS denomination :woot:

Good point--I changed that--2 pounds of value, one ounce of silver. :)

Very Nice! Looks a lot like my avatar. I recently added the 2015 to my collection.

Did you pick up the 2014 proof? That was one of the nicest designs in a while.

Yes, I posted it here earlier on another thread-- also low mintage and beautiful. As a collector of primarily US coins, I find many of the British and Aussie issues really more interesting-- certainly in terms of moderns.

I wish I had gotten started on these earlier. Really bummed out I missed that 2014 proof...

I got the 'Legacies of Freedom' set from the mint back in 2002. I loved the Britannia coin and marveled at its' reverse proof effect. I'd buy more but they don't figure in to local buying. Honking large piece of silver though.......gotta love it. :)
