Some of you may remember I posted the other week about a really neat half dollar in a B Max. Mehl envelope. This week I wanted to share my favorite gold coin out of the whole deal. This 1907 high relief saint was purchased at auction from Mehl for $25 in 1915. We even managed to track down the catalog in which it appeared. She now lives in a PCGS AU55+ older with a green CAC sticker.
