another 1996 with quad sixes??? what your thoughts?? Worn Dies

Hi everone, went to the bank today for some rolls, did pretty good and scored two walking libertys from the tray, 1930s and a 1942.But here is my othere stubling piece that i have Its a 1996 D lincoln but the date has me stumped, mabe a repunch,double strike, worn dies i just dont know. But what are your thoughts?? I had to play with coloring a little on the pics to show the details. Thanks Frank
