I thought while we were on the subject of 14-D Lincolns in another thread I thought I'd post this one. No, I'm not buying it, I just wanted you guys to check it out. I'd like to know whats up with the rims on both sides. This one is currently up for auction on Ebay, heres the number...300170101976.

    Post mint damage.
    Hammer, spoon or vice job.

At least the seller is honest about it.

If you wanted to buy it to fill a hole, it'd probly be ok if you got it for under $100.

Seems like the real deal to me, looks like a hammer was taken to it though. Shame on the bumps. I would say it would grade net VG-8 with all that's wrong with it.

    Phoenix

Looks like a vice job to me. There seems to be no hammer marks inside the rim on either side. Too bad.

Is that what would happen if Queen Elizabeth II and Lincoln had a baby, and they put the baby on a coin?

pretty neat like that, but i wouldn't pay more than $75 for it.
