The Byzantine Anonymous Folles are fascinating for their iconography and all of the variations they went through. In Sear and Sommer, this one receives a "Class A3" attribution, but academic numismatists apparently don't recognize that class. Some consider it a slight weight variation class that occurred between Class A and Class B. I liked the details that this one preserved in the beard and the hair.
