https://www.ebay.com/itm/363531404206?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055359.m1431.l2648 the last one i posted was from same vendor, it only brought 187.00 maybe shoulda bid on that one, seems i am never gonna find one of these for under 190.00 or more this one still goind and is at 250.00 the dimes been getting from 6.00 to 40.00, the pennies from 5.00 up to the first one i bought for 39.99 no nickels yet (off centers)
on the other hand, have found many 2020 and 2021 nickels with the beehive die break on right side of building, and 2 rolls (out of 70 rolls of 2021) cents with both die break, cracks and struck through whilst roll hunting..very (if not impossible) difficult to find of centers in rolls though and i do not have the 25,000.00 for the 100,000 coin bag , plus the shipping and the core charge for the metal pallet sled it is on to search quarters.....
Dont know if its just me but that seems to be extremely over the head insane because some people have ebay fever.
$250 ? That's crazy, no ? I saw the ebay page and I think it's insane all the bidders . Seems like a Bidder war to me .
I was taught at a very young age by my wise father, may he RIP, never to spend someone else's money. I'm sorry, I don't see more than a $20 coin there. Obviously others see value differently. It's their money to spend, so be it. Enjoy your search @john65999 and good luck.
The computers that the mint has nowadays are supposed to catch these type of errors. It isn't very common to find them. This isn't the 1900's any more. I had a chance to buy a Virginia and a New York about a year ago. they were both a good 25 to 35% off center. But he was already asking 250 for them.
I think the bat ATB quarter is just a broadstruck, instead of an off-center. None of the coin design is missing. While a true off-center is very rare and could easily fetch the ebay price range, I think 250 is too much for a broadstruck.
Just an outrageous price. At best it’s a $35.00 coin. Be patient, the price will drop in a few years.
the cents and dimes seem to be priced ok, been getting both for under 40.00 and actually got 5 of em from one auction in the 5-10.00 range, no nickels yet, and quarters arre ridiculous...i would pay around 75-85 for one, but that is my limit
It is possible to pickup a 2020 broadstruck ATB quarter at your price range. I recently picked up this one. Cost me only $40, including shipping. The bat quarter could bring a higher price though, since it is a comparatively beloved design. However, shouldn't be as high as 250.
Consider those off-center quarters minted after 2001. Those are super-rare, if not unique. An "details"-grade 2002 20% off center fetched 700. https://www.sullivannumismatics.com...er-20-center-against-feeder-finger-unc?v=2070
The coin in the Ebay auction linked isn't even an off-center coin! There are no design details missing. At best, I'd call it broadstruck. I'd value it at a tenth of what it's going for. That's crazy.
I BUY FROM THEM FROM TIME TO TIME, A LOT OF THEIR PRICES ARE HIGH THOUGH SOMETIMES YOU CAN SPOT A BARGAIN THOUGH...
